     POK - PAKISTAN OCCUPIED KASHMIR 


POK HISTORY  - 

When India got independence in 1947, the king of Jammu & Kashmir was Hari Singh ji.

24 October 1947 - Pakistan army attacked Kashmir. Then Hari Singh ji asked for help from India. India said you sign the merger and then we will see.

           On 26 October 1947, the king signed the Instrument of Accession and the very next day Kashmir became a part of India. But the area which was captured by Pakistani army remained under the full control of Pakistan and went towards Pakistan. 

It is called POK Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

• Recently, the people of Pok are protesting     against Pakistan very strongly because         Pakistan has been using those Kashmiris       till date. 

• The people of Pok are seeking help from       India and the Prime Minister of the                 Indian  Government - Narendra Modi ji.


• Indian flag is being hoisted and Pakistani    flag is being burnt.


• Top ministers of India said that Pok will         automatically come to India.


• People of Pok are demanding to open the       route to Kargil.
