Manali - Himachal Pradesh

 Snow - white Himalaya is standing as if to touch the Blue clear sky . Keeping parity with the lively rivers, variegated land and beautiful nature, people of this place are also very good. God has decorated Himachal Pradesh at the foot of the Himalaya, with all Beauty.Main rivers of Himachal Pradesh are Sutlej,Beas,Ravi. 

To the north of the Himachal Pradesh is Jammu and Kashmir, Hariyana is to the south, neighbouring country China and Uttranchal state are to the east and to the west is Punjab. Provincial administration has started in this state in 1963. With help of Ulh, a tributary of the river Beas, Ulh project has been set up and with the  help of Bhakra - Nangal Project on Sutlej river at Punjab border irrigation and hydro - electricity supply is made in this state and in Punjab, Hariyana, Rajasthan ect.. States.


Climate: North and western part of this state are hilly area. Climate there is Cold. But the land of the Southern part is not so 

high and climate too compared to northern part, is hotter. Temperature in summer varies between 33° and 24°  Celsius and that in winter varies between 15° and 0° Celsius.

        In this state  on hill slope there are many forests. From where are obtained forest resources like soft wood, deodar, oak, pine etc. Wood and resin. There are many grasslands here where sheep are reared. 


In different river valley's paddy, Wheat,burely,maize, sugarcane, potato, ginger oil seeds, variety of fruits,apples etc. grow 90% people do cultivation. Many of the remaining part do animal rearing and forest - product collection.
